RECOMMENDATION 3 was presented by the Tourism Infrastructure Reboot Committee recommending a pathway toward establishing a Universal Garbage Collection for the Marianas that ensures a safe, clean, and respectable destination for residents and visitors alike.
UNIVERSAL GARBAGE COLLECTION
EO 2021-21 created the CNMI Universal Garbage Collection Taskforce to work toward the creation of an efficient solid waste collection system for the villages and business in the Marianas. The Task Force is led by Council member Gary Sword of the Domestic Policy Recovery Committee. The Task Force’s plans and recommendations will be submitted to the Governor on December 27, 2021.
