About this project:

The Rota Mayor's Office, led by Honorable Efraim M. Atalig, along with the Filipino Community of Rota, Rota Merchandising and DK Brothers, owned by Mr. Pedro Dela Cruz, and Hotel Valentino committed to sprucing up the old abandoned buildings fronting the entrance and main thoroughfare in Songsong Village. One of the most prominent landmarks in the village is the Benita Manglona Buildings.

These old abandoned buildings are the first landmark that residents and visitors see upon entering Songsong, and our partners in Rota are determined to transform this area to be a welcoming first impression to their beautiful village. They have since repainted these buildings and cleared out the overgrown shrubs. They soon plan to create beautiful landscaping around the buildings featuring local flowers and foliage.
